Photography
My other main passion, which runs parallel to my animated productions, is photography and cinematography. I have been working as a professional time lapse photographer since 2010. I have worked with clients such as the Olympic Arts Committee and the Shanghai Media Group, on productions around the world.
I also teach photography and shoot quite a lot in studio and as I travel. I plan to do much more in the future.

Time Lapse Productions
Getting up at 4am in far off corners of the world to watch the sun come up, staying up all night to shoot the stars in the sky, Time Lapse Photography is just wonderful. I also included a promo I shot for the program I oversaw at SHVFS.

Places
When I first started photography I shot a lot of places. Actually, as a digital effects supervisor at the time I was shooting a lot of HDRIs and survey photos, and this lead into landscape photography. Then I shot a LOT of panoramas as I traveled all over the world, haha.
People
When I was younger, places inspired me. The break of dawn over temples in the sky, waterfalls misting rainbows over valleys, the sheer epic beauty of the world. People in comparison paled to this in my eye. Then I got older, and realized that as I look back, it is the people I remember most. So now I photograph people, trying to find the quiet beauty in them, to capture who they really are, and things to remember most about them.
Things
I have always felt simple things have a special kind of power. Be is a favorite cup, a bicycle, a phone, the things we surround ourselves with give us joy, excitement and comfort. Here is a small collection of objects, creatures, and the things that surround us.
